Influenza Inoculations: DTE announced that it will provide free flu shots this year to all retirees and spouses. Details as to location and dates are not yet available.

Prescription Program: Medco will continue as the Prescription Drug supplier for the years 2007 through 2009. All employees and retirees can help control both their out-of pocket cost and the cost to DTE by utilizing the Medco direct mailing program for your medications.

DTE Energy will continue the prescription drug coverage for the year 2009 with no design changes. Retirees 65 and older will NOT have to sign up for Medicare Part D for 2008.

HMO users: Current employees and Pre 65 retirees currently enrolled in an HMO plan will be offered a conversion to Blue Care Network. This is a plan aimed at participants working on a health wellness program. Details will be explained during the fall enrollment period.

Retiree Sponsored Dependent Coverage: DTE has informed us that this program will be discontinued commencing January 1, 2008. To those affected by this change, DTE will provide you with the full details.
